Thank you to everyone who made August a great month. A lot of folks put in a lot of effort to make it a great month. A huge thanks goes out to Steven for all of his sewing and outfitting of all of new recruits. Also a big thanks to Dwight and Neil for doing a great job with recruiting. Lastly I want to thank Bryon and Anita for their efforts at OSV.
We have another great month ahead of us. First off we have our annual Labor Day Parade in Marlborough followed up by our Regimental Birthday Party. As usual, if you are unable to attend the parade you are still encouraged to join the after party. After several years of taking a much-deserved break, the Bausk Family will be hosting the after party. Please make sure the contact either Bryon or Anita to see how you can help out. Make sure you bring a change of clothing so you can be comfortable.
Later this month we have the Annual Sudbury Colonial Fair and Fire & Drum Muster. The Sudbury Minute Men have done a great job planning this years muster and would like to feature the combine French Forces in the muster field for a 45 minute drill demonstration. This is a wonderful opportunity to show folks how much we’ve grown in the past year and how far we’ve come with improving our impression and drill. I know many of you are planning to attend as militia, but I encourage all of you to consider attending at French this year.
See you on the field
Pour le Roi et le Regiment!
